Is the sexual relations caused of transferring Hepatitis B or C? — 2 Comments

  1. Hepatitis C (HCV) is spread through blood to blood contact. Rough sex and unprotected anal sex could give blood to blood contact, so avoid those activities to avoid HCV.
Normal sexual relations are NOT a risk situation to contact HCV.
Do not borrow a toothbrush, hairbrush, or razor as there may be trace amounts of blood on them that would put you at risk.
Sex during mensis would put you at risk if you had open cuts or sores. HCV is ONLY transferred in blood to blood contact. Sex would not normally fall into that category.
